Position Summary

As a member of the STAR Help team, you will support our proprietary Portal, called STAR. The number one goal of this role is to enable customer success. Reporting to the Customer Support Manager, you'll continuously grow and develop skills, driving our standards of quality through performance and customer service, and resolving issues as they arise. In addition, you'll build or maintain your expertise in mortgage transactions, Orion Lending’s products, and services.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support, by being the 1st line of escalation for issue resolution for our customers on our systems.

• Provide real-time troubleshooting for customer-related issues.

• Be instrumental in new customer application management and onboarding

• Follow escalation paths to internal departments

• Build and maintain a business partnership and rapport with the Orion team, including

Position Summary

The funder’s primary responsibility is to perform all the tasks relating to loan closings after receiving approval to close from Underwriting, including the preparation and release of accurate closing documents. The position requires strong organizational and attention to detail as well as the ability to work effectively with borrowers, attorneys, brokers, and title companies.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

Review approved loans to determine conditions that must be met prior to closing, such as purchase of private mortgage insurance, flood insurance, verification of funds to close etc.
Call broker, title company, and or bank attorneys to request specific documents, such as an updated tax search, closing protection letters, abstract agent good standing letters and preliminary CD
Knowledge of TRID compliance rules and guidelines
Conduct compliance review of Loan Estimate, Closing Disclosure, and validate that the loan passes all federal and state rules
Receive and review any outstanding funding conditions prior to closing, including all disclosures
Verify accuracy and consistency of loan specifications in closing documents, such as loan terms, property information, borrower name and vesting, title information and homeowner’s insurance premiums and correct as necessary and verify borrowers’ signatures on all final closing documents prior to funding
Ensure all conditions and regulatory requirements are met prior to closing
Verify and set up lender wire for closing
Obtain necessary funding documents from settlement agents for review and issue a funding authorization for disbursement
Working with mortgage brokers and other clients to arrange for the closing and funding of residential mortgage loans
Follow up with closing agents for the prompt return of original closing documents
Meet production and quality standards consistently

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

High school Diploma
Solid knowledge of TRID.
3-5 years of experience in the mortgage industry
Knowledge of Encompass
Ability to work in a paperless environment
Ability to accurately record and calculate figures and prepare loan documents.
Strong knowledge of wet/dry state closing requirements.
Excellent communication skills and follow-through.

Position Summary

Ensure prompt and efficient service to brokers as liaison between brokers, underwriters, appraisal reviewers, account executives and funders. Manage assigned pipeline to insure timely and efficient action. Ensure that all underwriting requirements/conditions are satisfied prior to printing loan-closing documents from pipeline of approved loans. Coordinate delivery of accurate loan closing documents. Ensure all procedures are applied to pipeline loans being cancelled or denied. Responsible for each assigned applicant from opening through closing.

Manage pipeline to ensure adherence to company lending and service standards.
Communicate with brokers to provide status of loans. Confirm rates and fees charged and input data into loan origination system for documentation preparation.
Request/verify accuracy of loan documentation to satisfy underwriting conditions.
Remain current on company requirements and ensure compliance.
Coordinate delivery of loan closing documents to assigned closing agent/title company.

The Jr. Funder will assist the closing team by performing duties as determined by closing leadership. Jr. Funder will be assigned duties listed below, based on business need.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

Assist with Post Closing:

o Checking signed documents for accuracy, completeness, and proper signatures.

o Following up on missing documents and funding conditions after funding.

o Audit closed loan files to ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with internal policies and external regulations.

o Performs communications and updates every 24 to 48 hours on the files by making detailed notes in the Post closing Notes section in Encompass.

o Performs other duties as assigned by ma^{nagement. (i.e., Agency audit}s, Clearing post purchase conditions, Trailing docs issues)

o Familiarity with mortgage loan funding, closing, and post-closing procedures is highly beneficial.

o Review Funding Worksheet, CPL & E&O to process wire
